DXpedition Sponsorship
For many years, the GMDX Group has provided sponsorship to major
Dxpeditions.
Here
are a few from recent years.
In return, each year, the Group receives several
high-quality presentations from international DXers.
Group members learn a great deal from these events and find them extremely
enjoyable.

Contest Operations
Group Members are active during many major contests. Scotland has a small
Contesting community, so GM stations are often in demand. With the right
skills and training, an effective GM station can run pile-ups for many hours.
If you are new to contesting,

VP8SDX and beyond ...
During 2001, the GMDX Group organised and ran the world-class VP8SDX
DXpedition. The team (GM3YTS, GM4FDM, GM0GAV, GM4COX) made over 30,000 qsos
during their time in the Falkland Islands.
At some future date, the Group may mount another major DXpedition. Right now, all options
remain open ... :-)
