Group Membership ...
Purpose
Formed in 1993, the GMDX Group provides a focus in Scotland for DXers,
Contesters and Island Award Chasers. Over many years, it has provided support
to DXpeditions of all kinds.
The aims of the GMDX Group are detailed
here.
The Group manages the prestigious
Islands Of Scotland Award
cherished by DXers world-wide. And more recently, it
has launched the
Worked All Scottish Prefixes
and
Celtic Knot Award
schemes.

Membership
Membership is open to radio amateurs and short-wave listeners world-wide. The
Group meets quarterly at Stirling in Scotland, and a Convention is held each
year in April. Speakers visit from around the World. And most meetings
feature a talk and slide-show covering a recent world-class DXpedition.
