DXpedition Sponsorship Sponsorship has been provided, for many years, by the GMDX Group to major DXpeditions. You can find out more about previous events here. If you are planning a DXpedition, and seeking sponsorship, here are the ground rules. Please note that promotion of the DX Code of Conduct is now an essential requirement for sponsorship. Linear Amplifier Switching All GMDX Members receive the Group's quarterly Digest comprising articles about DXpeditions, Antennas, DX News and much more. The Autumn 2010 edition carries a feature about linear amplifier switching which is reproduced in full here. Most Wanted DXCC Countries 2007 Many thanks to all who took the time to contribute. In total, we had over 100 entries. While there were many for SSB and CW, only 7 were received for RTTY. So, no RTTY results are being published. However, you can view the SSB, CW and SSB+CW results here: SSB CW Mixed IOSA Award For Scottish Island Chasers and Activators, the GMDX site is the home of IOSA, the prestigious Islands of Scotland Award. Here is the full IOSA Island list. WASP and Celtic Knot Awards We are promoting WASP, the Worked All Scottish Prefixes Award, as well as the Celtic Knot Award.
DX and Contesting As one of its major goals, the Group seeks to provide help and support for those interested in DX chasing and Contesting. The aims of the GMDX Group are detailed here. Many Group members are active DX and Contest operators. And since it's beginning in 1993, the GMDX Group has provided support to a wide range of major DXpeditions. more...
