The Linear Amp UK Discovery 6 utilises a single Russian GS35 triode and will produce up to 1600 Watts output with 100W of drive. All brass anode stripline.  The unit uses a 2.2kVA toroidal transformer with a high power voltage doubler HT board. Control and protection circuits are all provided by the specially designed control board. The cooling is via an integral centrifugal fan. Quiet changeover relays, anode protection, grid overdrive trip, auto soft start and in-built 3 minute warm-up timer are standard features.

Frequency coverage 50-54Mhz (can be converted to 4m by taking one tap off input and output matching, 1 hr job.)
